 DOCARE INTERNATIONAL: GUATEMALA

Dr. Kang visited rural villages of Antigua (San Andreas, San Lorenzo, Maya villages) where he treated over 800 patients and over 2000 dental procedures.

Pure Dental is proud to volunteer yearly at Special Olympics Special Smiles.
Annually, Dr. Kang leads his staff (pictured below) and many volunteers in screening and providing oral hygiene instructions to numerous athletes.  He coordinates with volunteers from ASU, ASDOH and local dentists/staff also take time to aid in the screenings.

Dr. Kang has volunteered in Tijuana, Mexico for the past ten years. He continues to provide emergency dental care for those who are without any dental facility.  Dental supplies are also distributed such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, while educating children in proper oral hygiene instructions and diet.

Dr. Kang has had a global impact traveling to Tanzania.  Below are his patients giving him his international trademark of "thumbs up."

Dr. Kang has had the opportunity to provide dental care to children throughout the Domincan Republic from Cabarete to Santiago.  Below are the kids receiving their toothbrushes and toothpaste after their treatments.
